Chins And Pulldowns For A Wide Back

If you want to get a wide back you need to concentrate on Chin Ups and Lat Pulldowns.
These two exercises target the lat muscles. The lat muscles are the muscles you see sticking out under your arms from the front and are the muscles you see when you do a front lat spread, they are the muscles that give you the appearance of having a wide back.
Don’t forget to do your Deadlift or Bent Over Rows first as these are your mass exercises, then hit into either of these width exercises to fill out your soon to be wide back…
The reason I suggest Chin Ups and Pulldowns together is that in theory they are the same exercise, in reality this is not the case even though both focus on width.
Do Chin Ups if you can, if you are like me and weigh a ton and give everything for your mass exercises then you can do Lat Pulldowns instead but do Chin Ups if you can they are a better exercise.
3 sets of either is enough to target your lats after training after your mass building exercises.
Also don’t swing your body around to use more weight, do them strict and use your lats - not your lower back.
Vary the handgrips each week too.
